Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Data Entry Clerk, your primary duties will include:

  • Performing data entry and filing tasks for various departments, including accounts payable, purchase orders, equipment inventory, and confidential employee or departmental files.
  • Copying, collating, and preparing reports for mailings, meetings, and other correspondence.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
  • Assisting with other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Working independently to identify and solve problems, and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

Required Skills and Abilities

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • The ability to type at least 50 wpm with high accuracy.
  • Strong proofreading skills to ensure error-free documents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Basic understanding of office equipment, such as printers, scanners, and copiers.
  • Familiarity with clerical procedures and systems, including recordkeeping and filing.
  • Ability to work independently and identify solutions to problems.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experience would be beneficial:

  • Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's software and systems.
  • Certification in data entry, Microsoft Office, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
