About the Data Platform Team:
Our data platform teams are responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers arenaflex's data-driven decision-making. We provide unified data platforms and tools for various business capabilities across the organization, enabling our teams to make data-driven decisions and drive business growth. Our data platform teams are passionate about building a world-class data platform that is scalable, secure, and highly performant.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop large-scale distributed systems that meet the needs of arenaflex's business capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and TPM, to drive business outcomes and deliver high-quality software
- Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure distributed systems using Java and other programming languages
- Participate in the design and development of open-source projects and contribute to arenaflex's OSS efforts
- Work closely with the data platform team to identify and address technical challenges and opportunities
- Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge bases to ensure knowledge sharing and reuse across the team

Database Access Stage:
Develop and maintain an adaptable query interface that enables microservices to store, consume, and manage their data efficiently.
Data Stage Foundation:
Build and maintain a platform for arenaflex's data platforms, providing common framework and tooling to enable rapid development and deployment of data and analytics frameworks.
Big Data Figure:
Design and develop a cloud-native platform for large-scale data processing and analytics, enabling arenaflex to process and analyze large datasets efficiently.
Big Data Arrangement:
Develop and maintain a platform for planning, organizing, and executing large-scale data jobs and workflows in a self-serve manner.
Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems features or applications
- Strong programming skills in Java or other object-oriented programming languages
- Experience in designing and developing scalable, secure, and highly performant distributed systems
- Strong understanding of data platforms, data warehousing, and data analytics
- Experience in working with open-source projects and contributing to OSS efforts
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in working with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of cloud-native platforms, such as AWS and GCP
- Experience in developing and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure distributed systems
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices
- Experience in working with data platforms, data warehousing, and data analytics
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and develop effective solutions
