Account Manager - New England

Description: Role Summary The Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales objectives and growing sales volume for Three Rivers Optical’s products and services within targeted accounts in an assigned territory. They are also ultimately responsible for growing our business and their customer’s loyalty through the delivery of the company’s products, service excellence, and technical superiority. This position is responsible for the New England Market and shall reside within this market.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently achieving established sales performance and territory metrics.
  • Maintain existing and cultivate new large, high-value accounts within a large geographic territory.
  • Developing a trusted advisor relationship with customers.
  • Utilizing corporate tools and applications to document, plan, monitor, and meet sales objectives within their territory
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with their lab partners to ensure successful customer relations and achievement of sales objectives
  • Communicating with National Sales Manager on an ongoing basis regarding personal growth, sales results, and plans of action
  • Utilizing the knowledge they gain through ride-withs, call-ins and other communication with the Sales Manager to continually improve and meet overall objectives
  • Effectively completes requested tasks from management and corporate office in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to company policies, attendance, and safety rules, while maintaining confidentiality of proprietary and HIPAA-protected information.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree business, sales, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in influencing key decision makers.
  • Energetic and focused self-starter that is goal/results oriented.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Working knowledge of CRM software tools, a plus.
  • Approximately 25% overnight travel may be required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.

Working Environment

  • This remote role will require up to 25% travel across the assigned territory.
  • Flexible work schedule and occasional out-of-the-area and overnight travel are expected.
  • Capable of driving for an extended period under a variety of conditions and spending extended periods sitting in the vehicle.
  • Environment often fast-paced, deadline oriented.
