About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Animator to join our team as a Full Stack Animation and Visual Effects Specialist. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for working with existing animation layouts and creating new abilities to make increasingly complex customized animations. This is an involved position requiring great working knowledge of Eventual outcomes, Media Encoder, Photoshop, and Artist, as well as a strong understanding of animation principles, motion graphics, and visual effects. Key Responsibilities
Use existing animation records and components to create content for ESPN programming Interpret task details and creative direction into visually compelling solutions Logically advance skills in creating customized animations Display brilliant collaboration skills, responsive to feedback and correction requests Be able to easily switch between multiple tasks and projects Have a strong attention to detail, timelines, delivery details, and established project work processes Be expected to develop skills to design animation projects for effective creation, delivery, and documentation Have resilient individual and team relational skills Create and design illustrations for studio shows and remote events, including daily show creation planning Essential Qualifications Section-level position requiring fundamental knowledge of Eventual outcomes, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Artist Essential understanding of animation, motion graphics, and visual effects principles Solid attention to detail, timelines, delivery details, and established project work processes Great overall demeanor, open to creative and constructive feedback, willing to adapt to task specifics easily Willing to thrive in a fast-paced team environment and be confident while working independently Solid communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills Willing to proactively learn new software and technologies Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of Eventual outcomes, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Artist, Film 4D Online portfolio/demo reel This is a hybrid job requiring a blend of On-site (Charlotte, NC) and Remote (Work from Home) work during the week Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays as tasks require Experience working with clients and creating content within established brand guidelines Earlier games planning as well as animation experience in school or similar work experience Interest in sports and knowledge of ESPN programming Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique blend of technical, creative, and interpersonal skills. You should be proficient in Eventual outcomes, Media Encoder, Photoshop, and Artist, with a strong understanding of animation principles, motion graphics, and visual effects. You'll also need to be a collaborative team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
