[Remote] Associate Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cotiviti is a leading solutions and analytics company specializing in healthcare insights. The Associate Software Engineer will work on developing and supporting analytics systems, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Work within the team developing and supporting analytics systems with patent pending technology and applications to support our in-house audit partners
- Design and implement new solutions
- Learn new technologies and apply them to the problem space
- Peer review software changes by other developers
- Provide technical guidance to the team on development
- Document the specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production rollout
- Work collaboratively with business partners to define and ensure the completeness and accuracy of system/technical requirements
- Achieve organizational and individual goals as identified in performance reviews and goal setting exercises
- Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience
- 0-1 year of industry experience
- Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
- Foundational understanding of software engineering principles, design principles, performance, and applications that scale
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to execute project deliverables in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within estimated timelines
- Experience with SQL query optimization, stored procedures, and database triggers
- 0-1 years' experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
- 0-1 years' experience with modern programming languages: TypeScript, Java, C#, or .NET Framework
- 0-1 years' experience with cloud platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- 0-1 years' experience with relational databases: Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, SAFe framework experience preferred
- Experience analyzing and working with large datasets
