Key Responsibilities

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting clients in reporting claims on current policies by gathering all necessary documentation to facilitate the claims process
  • Recording policy updates or changes on customer accounts by tracking them in our secure system and communicating with clients to explain any updates to their coverage
  • Assisting with the renewal process and policy updates by providing competitive quotes and ensuring seamless transitions
  • Providing clear and concise answers to clients on coverage or billing questions, including information on rate fluctuations or policy changes to ensure full understanding
  • Staying up-to-date with industry standards, current rates, coverages, insurance products, insurance policies, and carriers by regularly engaging with our industry partners to stay informed and provide expert guidance to clients, underwriters, sales representatives, account executives, and the rest of our service team
  • Reviewing current client coverage needs to determine if updates or changes are warranted
  • Communicating clear responses to coverage or billing inquiries
  • Processing and documenting calls, emails, and policy updates in a timely and accurate manner

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • An active insurance license in Minnesota or a willingness to obtain one within 30 days
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve and follow up with clients in a timely manner
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is preferred, but we'll provide training as needed for the right fit and skillset

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced insurance environment
  • Knowledge of insurance products, policies, and carriers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and systems
