Contracts Analyst
The California Department of Housing & Community Development is dedicated to fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment. The Contracts Analyst will analyze and coordinate the development of contracts for the department while ensuring accuracy and acting as a liaison in the contracting process.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes and coordinates the development of contracts for the department
- Aids with oversight, evaluation and technical support and process a range of different types of contracts including, interagency, Local Assistance, and service
- Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all contract content for execution
- Act as the liaison between the Contracts Office and agency departments and external stakeholders in the contracting process
Skills
- A Statement of Qualifications must be submitted along with your application in order to be considered for this position
- It is a requirement to submit work experience, dates, and hours worked, contact names and phone numbers of supervisors on the state application
- Applicants who fail to submit a completed STD. 678 will not be considered
- Selected candidates may be subject to rules imposed by a Conflict of Interest Code that apply to HCD employees, which may require filing a Statement of Economic Interest (Form 700)
- This position requires a background check to be conducted in California and cleared prior to being hired
- HCD utilizes the federal E-Verify system to verify employment authorization in the United States
- Individuals who are currently in the classification, eligible for lateral transfer, eligible for reinstatement, have list or LEAP eligibility, are in the process of obtaining list eligibility, or have SROA and/or Surplus eligibility may apply
