[Remote] Claim Advisor Auto
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Allstate Canada is a company dedicated to protecting families and their belongings from life’s uncertainties. They are seeking a bilingual Claim Advisor, Auto to join their Maritimes team, responsible for reviewing insurance policies, investigating complex claims, and collaborating with various stakeholders to settle claims.
Responsibilities
- Review insurance policy and coverages
- Investigate complex automobile claims (i.e.: impaired, unlisted operator or non-drivable) and determine coverage and liability
- Settle claims in accordance with organization’s policies and practices
- Required to collaborate with the customer, service suppliers (i.e. towing, repair shops), other insurance companies and law enforcement
Skills
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- Bilingual language fluency (English/French)
- Adjusting License Level 1 or equivalent
- 1 - 3 years handling complex automobile claims is required
- Knowledge in understanding and interpreting policies
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy
- Enrolled in (or willing to enroll in) CIP designation
