COMPLEX COMMERCIAL LITIGATION AND/OR TRANSACTIONAL ASSOCIATE BOUTIQUE LAW FIRM
Nissenbaum Law Group, LLC is a boutique law firm specializing in complex commercial litigation and transactional matters. They are seeking an Associate to join their team, who will be trained in the legal complexities of commercial litigation and transactional representation while working in a supportive and emotionally intelligent environment.

- TO TRAINING OUR ATTORNEYS IN THE LEGAL COMPLEXITIES OF COMMERCIAL LITIGATION AND TRANSACTIONAL REPRESENTATION
- TO FOSTERING AN EMOTIONALLY INTELLIGENT WORK ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH OUR ATTORNEYS CAN HAVE A ROLE IN DETERMINING WHETHER OR NOT THEY WORK FROM HOME OR THE OFFICE
- The attorney position is based at the firm’s headquarters in Union, NJ though the firm also maintains offices with active practices in Manhattan, Philadelphia and Dallas
- The firm offers work-from-home, hybrid and in-person arrangements in an effort to suit the needs of our attorneys
- While admittedly much of current legal practice has become virtual, our attorneys must also be able to attend, for example, in-person court appearances, depositions, meetings and otherwise perform the work of an in-person commercial legal practice as defined by the needs of our clients and law firm
- The firm is committed to mentoring new associates in a collaborative and multi-layered manner respecting relatively all significant aspects of commercial practice
- Entering associates will typically be provided with a 2-4 week intensive training program overseen by our managing attorney
- The purpose is to steep our new attorneys in a wide latitude of topics so they will be ready to take on complex matters that will be challenging for them
Skills
- JD Degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Admission to the New Jersey bar
- Relevant commercial law experience in either litigation or transactional matters (or both)
- Outstanding academic credentials
- Judicial clerkship (preferred, but not required)
- Admission to the New York and/or Pennsylvania bar preferred but not required
