They are looking for enthusiastic instructors to teach K-12 students in various subjects, creating engaging and age-appropriate curricula while fostering a love for learning in children.
Responsibilities
- Conceive of and create an age-appropriate curriculum for your class
- Create memorable experience for the children in your class to help them grow and develop a passion for your performing art
- Consistently arrive at your class on time (or early!), prepared with the lesson plan for the day
- Help children understand why your performing art is so wonderful and how it's helped shape you as a person
Skills
- Experience teaching school age children
- Excitement, joy, and passion for both teaching kids and personal development/learning
- Ability to create a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Ability to bring your own voice and creativity to each class you teach
- Cooperative, supportive, and flexible
- Dependable, proactive, and thrives when given autonomy
- Appreciates support and clear expectations
- Provide a resume showcasing relevant teaching experience
- If lacking formal teaching experience, share any other relevant experience or training
