Global Markets FP&A Analyst

The Global Markets FP&A Analyst will provide managerial reporting, financial analysis, and planning support for the Global Markets business, collaborating with partners to deliver accurate financial insights for strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Expense & FTE Management: Perform reconciliations, variance analysis, and provide insights to support budgeting and forecasting
- Reporting: Prepare monthly detailed expense and T&E reports for desks; generate monthly expense report to Tokyo Head Office and quarterly expense review materials
- Consolidation & Allocations: Support overall GM consolidation, reporting across products, and performance allocation processes between product and coverage groups
- Transfer Pricing Control: Facilitate data submissions and assist with verification processes
- Management Information: Assist in preparing materials for key meetings and presentations
- System Maintenance: Maintain and update management reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency in BAU reporting
- Process Improvement: Contribute to automation and optimization initiatives to streamline reporting and enhance efficiency
Skills
- Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting fundamentals
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Oracle Smart View and Hyperion Planning is a plus
- Solid analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
- Intellectual curiosity about GM business and regulatory environment
- Familiarity with GM products preferred (not required)
