Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Specialist - Extended Hours, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Efficiently serving the needs of internal and external customers through inbound telephone calls, email, and online chat support
- Responding to customer inquiries and problems concerning their accounts, gathering necessary information to document and resolve customer issues
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, including telephone call statistics and account information
- Adhering to the highest standards of customer confidentiality and data security in a remote work environment
- Processing telephone transfers, loan payments, and stop payments requests made by phone
- Monitoring and responding to online chats from our website
- Maintaining and applying knowledge of regulations governing transactions in relation to banking services, including demand deposits and savings accounts
- Resetting electronic banking PINS, duplicating statements requests, and answering debit card inquiries
- Assisting customers with Internet Banking and Bill Pay, including resetting passcodes, assisting with log-in, and guiding through the Internet Banking website
- Providing video Teller assistance for ITMs
- Identifying sales referral opportunities and making appropriate referrals and participating in sales campaigns as identified
Additional Responsibilities
As a remote worker with arenaflex, you'll also be responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate department records
- Staying up-to-date on all bank products and services
- Cross-selling to existing and prospective customers
- Participating in sales campaigns and identifying sales referral opportunities
- Performing any other duties assigned by your supervisor
Job Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of deposits, loans, and banking products and services with a minimum of two years customer service experience or related experience
- Financial Call Center experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and multitask
- Ability to work from home in a remote position
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to travel to the office for periodic meetings and training
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 360 (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Remote Worker Agreement
As a remote worker with arenaflex, you'll be required to sign a Remote Worker Agreement, which outlines the terms and conditions of your remote work arrangement. This agreement includes:
- Employment at will: Both parties understand that the employment of the Remote Worker is on an "at-will" basis, which means that either party may terminate employment at any time, for any reason whatsoever, with or without cause, except as prohibited by applicable federal or state law.
- Termination of Remote Worker Agreement: Either party may terminate the Remote Worker Agreement, with or without cause, upon reasonable notice to the other party.
- Job Performance/Impact: This agreement is subject to, but not limited to, the employee satisfying the following conditions on a continuing basis:
+ The employee shall perform all job duties at a satisfactory performance level + The employee's work schedule does not interfere with normal interactions with his/her supervisor, co-workers, or customers + The employee's work schedule does not adversely affect the ability of other company employees to perform their jobs
- Work hours: Remote work hours will be defined by bank management and should not be changed unless approved by bank management.
- Workspace: Employee agrees to designate a workspace within their remote work location for placement and installation of equipment to be used while working remotely.
- Virtual Meetings/Call: When an Employee can be seen or heard during a virtual meeting/call, he or she will adhere to the following:
+ Avoid background noise + Avoid eating, smoking, or vaping + Keep yourself muted during video or audio conferencing unless you are speaking + Follow the bank's "Personal Appearance Dress Code" + Give your full attention to the meeting or customer as if you were face to face
