Job Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for increasing customer satisfaction and retention by providing exceptional customer service and building rapport with current and prospective members. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, consistent, timely, and meaningful information to members, customers, patients, and providers to maximize the benefits of their insurance coverage
  • Build rapport and collaborative relationships with current and prospective members in accordance with compliance guidelines
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Utilize computer systems and software to document customer interactions and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that customers receive seamless and integrated service
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in insurance coverage to provide informed and effective customer service

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Bilingual (Spanish) speaking, with the ability to take an assessment to verify language proficiency
  • Two years of customer service experience, with call center experience highly preferred, particularly in the healthcare industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience in a related field, or a combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum typing speed of 30+ words per minute (wpm)
  • High-speed internet and the ability to work from home in a quiet environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of insurance coverage and benefits
  • Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to self-motivate and work independently
