Student Intern - Python/C++ Developer - Summer Term
TMX Group is a leading global exchange organization that enhances capital markets. The Student Intern - Python/C++ Developer role involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to execute tests, conduct code reviews, and participate in code development using Python and/or C++.
Responsibilities
- Elaborate and execute tests prior to delivery
- Collaborate with the team members to understand and to challenge the requirements , design, and the testing cycle
- Conduct and participate in code reviews by following the enterprise code standards
- Participate in code development in Python and/or C++
Skills
- Currently enrolled in a university program in Software Engineering or related field
- Good software troubleshooting skills
- Minimum of 3 months of practical experience in Python programming scripting
- Familiarity with Git
- Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts such as Pods and Helm
- Knowledge in DevOps and CI/CD implementation
- Ability to work in a flexible environment and interest in continuous process improvement
- Sense of organization, focus, persistence and ability to work according to established plan
- Good interpersonal skills and team player
- Good imagination and creativity in developing solutions
