The Role

As a Customer Chat Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for engaging with customers through our live chat platform, answering their inquiries about products and services, and providing exceptional customer service based on our comprehensive knowledge base. You'll have the flexibility to choose your working hours, log in at a time that suits you, and respond to messages at your own pace.

Key Responsibilities:

* Engage with customers through website live chat, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide exceptional customer service based on our common questions and answers provided, ensuring that customers receive accurate and helpful information
  • Work independently, following provided instructions and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in customer interactions
  • Collaborate with our team to resolve complex customer issues and provide proactive support to prevent future problems
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with our products and services, as well as industry best practices

Requirements:

* A device (phone, tablet, or laptop) with internet access for social media and website chat functions

  • Ability to work independently and follow provided instructions
  • Minimum of 5 hours of weekly availability
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and provide personalized support
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous customer service experience, either in-person or online

  • Familiarity with live chat platforms and customer service software
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g. Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
