[Remote] Application Support Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Application Support Analyst will design application systems, evaluate and modernize the Veterans Benefits Management System, and develop skills in technology while supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Responsibilities
- Design application systems in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs
- Evaluate and modernize the Veterans Benefits Management System
- Develop skills in technology development, testing and network administration
- Gain experience in federal contracting
- Reuse and expand technologies to create a better, modernized platform for our nation's veterans
- Respond to calls on a 24/7 basis as part of an on-call rotation
Skills
- 1+ years of experience with SQL and relational database systems/concepts
- 1+ years of experience with AWS/Linux/Oracle
- 1+ years of experience with data and process analysis
- Knowledge of software development
- Ability to grasp concepts and the flow of cross-platform data
- Ability to communicate application information and solutions to clients
- Ability to work efficiently in cross-team situations as well as independently
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Experience with Dynatrace
- Experience with SOAP UI
