Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Assistant at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Gathering and collecting information from employees, other departments, and clients, including invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents, and other relevant data.
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent details and ensuring accuracy in data capture.
  • Correcting errors and organizing information in a manner that optimizes swift and accurate capturing.
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering/updating information into relevant databases.
  • Ensuring data is backed up and stored in a secure and organized manner.
  • Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered and taking corrective action.
  • Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval.
  • Handling additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, customer service, or administrative support.
  • Excellent command of English language, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed.
  • Proficient touch-typing skills and basic computer literacy.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Word and Excel, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with databases, data management software, or other relevant tools.
  • Familiarity with data entry best practices and quality control procedures.
