Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Dataworks team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the design, build, test, and maintenance of large-scale data pipelines. You will work with various data sources, processing and analyzing data to ensure it is accurate and reliable. Your expertise will help us optimize our data environment and pipelines, ensuring they are efficient and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and maintain large-scale data pipelines, working with various data sources and stakeholders. Develop and implement data processing and analytics solutions, ensuring data quality and integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation, delivering high-impact results. Investigate and resolve data-related issues, providing L3 support and guidance. Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring they are optimized for performance and scalability. Work with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data solutions that meet those needs. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for data engineering.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Technical background in software engineering, programming, database systems, and distributed systems. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and data modeling. Experience with data processing and analytics tools, such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and SQL. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop creative solutions. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as Terraform and YAML. Experience with data engineering tools, such as Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra, and MongoDB. Familiarity with Python and its data science ecosystem, including Pandas, Scikit-Learn, and Matplotlib. Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
