Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team as a Cashier & Front End Services expert. As the face of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring that every customer leaves our store feeling valued, appreciated, and eager to return. Your role will be critical in providing exceptional customer service, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Smile, greet, and thank customers with a positive attitude, ensuring that every interaction is welcoming and friendly.
  • Represent significant periods of time while checking out customers quickly and accurately, handling cash, and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain your area clean and organized, including the cash wrap, sales floor, and parking lot.
  • Answer customer questions and assist them with their needs, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Be available to help associates across the store as needed, demonstrating a team-oriented and collaborative approach.
  • Perform additional duties as required, including assembling carts from the parking lot, operating equipment to move carts from the parking lot to inside the store, and cleaning bathrooms, sales floor, and parking lot as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as customer service, retail management, or communications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, associates, and management in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to handle difficult customer situations in a calm and composed manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly and easily around the store.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a related field, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Knowledge of point-of-sale systems, cash handling procedures, and inventory management principles.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a flexible and adaptable approach to scheduling.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to provide excellent customer service and support.
