Job Summary
As a CAD Engineer – Timing for Transistor-Level Circuit Analysis at arenaflex, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and supporting the systems, flows, and tools necessary to verify semiconductor-level circuits in the areas of timing, signal integrity, and circuit validation. You will work closely with digital and analog designers to ensure that their designs meet functionality, timing, electrical, power, and signal integrity objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the development of arenaflex's cutting-edge technologies, and your contributions will have a direct impact on the performance and reliability of our products.
Key Responsibilities
* Define, implement, and support the systems, flows, and tools necessary to verify semiconductor-level circuits in the areas of timing, signal integrity, and circuit validation
* Work closely with digital and analog designers to ensure that their designs meet functionality, timing, electrical, power, and signal integrity objectives
* Conduct in-depth analysis of timing methods to identify key areas of improvement
* Develop and maintain documentation and guidelines for semiconductor-level analysis
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive timing, power, signal integrity, and functional validation efforts
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to design and analysis tools and methodologies
Key Capabilities
* Experience and/or coursework in timing, STA, computer-aided design/philosophy, advanced design, and related fields
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Perl, Python, TCL, or similar languages
* Familiarity with semiconductor-level devices such as NanoTime, PathMill, HSPICE (a plus)
* Knowledge of advanced custom circuit design, including dynamic circuit methods and memories, as well as Zest models and netlists
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical issues and follow them through to resolution
Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
* Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience
