Job Summary
As a Senior Engineer - Big Data, you will be responsible for creating and testing software, including progressive refactoring of code and driving continuous improvement in code structure and quality. You will be the center individual of a lightweight team driving client story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software applications, testing and builds automation tools. You will also be responsible for finding amazing opportunities to adopt innovative technologies and typifying a rebel with a cause mindset by looking beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Creates and tests software, including progressive refactoring of code and drives continuous improvement in code structure and quality
- Essential focus is spent writing code, API specs, conducting code audits and testing in continuous runs or doing proof of concepts/automation tools
- Applies insight and different methods to quick track ideas
- Capabilities as a center individual of a lightweight team driving client story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software applications, testing and builds automation tools
- Deals with a particular stage/item or as a feature of a unique asset pool doled out to projects in view of interest and business need
- Finds amazing opportunities to adopt innovative technologies
- Typifies a rebel with a cause mindset by looking beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or same
- 2+ years of programming development experience and leading teams of designers and scrum teams
- 2+ years of active experience of working with Hive, Hadoop, and Spark (core, SQL, and PySpark)
- Demonstrated Datawarehousing concepts
- Knowledge of Financial detailing ecosystem is an plus
- 2+ years of demonstrated insight inside Data Science/Information Warehousing using Big Data innovations will be an addon
- Master on Distributed environment
- Active involvement in programming using Core Java or Python/Scala
- Master on Hadoop and Spark Design and its functioning guideline
- Involved insight on composition and understanding refined SQL (Hive/PySpark-dataframes), upgrading joins while handling gigantic measure of information
- Experience in UNIX shell scripting
- Capacity to plan and develop advanced Information pipelines for batch and real-time data handling
- Should have insight in analysis, design, development, testing, and execution of system applications
- Shown capacity to create and record technical and useful details and investigate programming and system handling streams
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of cloud stages like GCP/AWS, building Microservices and adaptable arrangements, will be a benefit
- 2 + years of involvement with planning and building arrangements utilizing Kafka streams or lines
- Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket and utilizing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with NoSQL i.e., HBase, Couchbase, MongoDB is great to have
