As a key member of our information management and analysis team, you will be responsible for planning and executing cycles and arrangements related to various data indexes used for data/text mining, analysis, and informed business decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Under moderate supervision, plans and executes cycles and arrangements related to a wide variety of data indexes utilized for data/text mining, analysis, and informed business decision-making.
- Gains insight into key business issues and expectations by applying statistical analysis procedures to examine structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources.
- With moderate guidance, creates solutions from initial concept to production and communicates results to a broad range of audiences.
- Effectively utilizes current and emerging technologies to assess trends and develop significant insights and recommendations to management, through an understanding of the business model and the data available for analysis.
- Regularly uses data, statistical and quantitative analysis, limited modeling, and fact-based management to drive navigation.
- Mentors less senior staff, works in cross-functional teams and projects, and frequently presents to management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline, such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics, or Finance.
- Five (5) years of work experience in analysis and analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations research, marketing analysis, simulation development, or predictive analysis.
- Proficient in analysis software and applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered an Asset
- Experience or coursework with SAFE Agile.
- Experience with the following: requirements gathering; probability and statistics; TSQL/PLSQL; Python or R; mathematical modeling; discrete data analysis.
