Job Summary

As a Customer Care Representative I, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our members and customers, addressing their inquiries and concerns related to healthcare and pharmacy benefits. You will work closely with various functions within the company to ensure that customer requests and questions are handled promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to internal and external customer questions via telephone and written correspondence regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, eligibility, and claims

  • Analyze problems and provide information/solutions to customers
  • Operate a PC/image station to obtain and extract information, document information, activities, and changes in the database
  • Thoroughly document inquiry outcomes for accurate tracking and analysis
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships and coordinate with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests and questions are handled appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Research and analyze data to address operational challenges and customer service issues
  • Provide external and internal customers with requested information
  • Under immediate supervision, receive and place follow-up telephone calls and fax to answer customer questions that are routine in nature
  • Use computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting
  • Conduct outbound calls in the ZipDrug business area

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent and previous experience in an automated customer service environment

  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers

Preferred Qualifications

* Healthcare experience, particularly in pharmacy or customer service roles

  • Call center experience, with a focus on customer service and support
  • Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare and pharmacy benefits, including insurance plans, provider contracts, and claims processing
  • Experience with computerized systems, including CRM software and database management

Work Environment and Culture

As a Customer Care Representative I at blithequark, you will work in a hybrid environment, with a mix of on-site and remote work arrangements. You will be required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $18.50 to $20.50, depending on location and experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including:
