Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Pre-License Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for handling inbound calls from members seeking general insurance enrollment information. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls from members in a professional and courteous manner, providing accurate and timely information about our insurance products and services.
  • Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels, ensuring that all interactions are handled with empathy and understanding.
  • Utilize our systems and tools to accurately document member interactions, ensuring that all account notes are recorded in English.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve member issues and concerns, demonstrating a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills, staying up-to-date with industry developments and changes.

Pre-License Training and Development

Our Pre-License Training program is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in your role. This comprehensive training program lasts for two weeks, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. During this period, you will learn about our products and services, as well as the skills and competencies required to pass the State License Exam. Please note that 100% attendance is mandatory throughout the training, and no time off will be granted. Additionally, there is a 90-day probationary period, during which you will be expected to demonstrate your commitment to your role and the company.

Licensed Training Class

Upon passing the state exam and obtaining your license, you will advance to our Licensed Training Class, which spans 10 weeks (8 weeks of training followed by 2 weeks of on-the-job training). This training program is designed to further develop your knowledge and skills, ensuring that you are equipped to provide exceptional customer service to our members. The hourly pay remains at $18.50, and you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Fluent in English, with the ability to record account notes in English.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of the pre-hire screening process and background check.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are preferred:

  • Prior experience in customer service or a related field.
