Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers and providing exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Operating the register, cashiering, and making purchase suggestions to customers
  • Working with our food program to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers
  • Leading shifts on a regular basis to gain entry-level management experience
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, both inside and out
  • Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance to ensure seamless operations

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues and concerns
  • Ability to work as part of a team to achieve daily goals and objectives
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Retail and customer service experience, preferably in a leadership role
  • Sales associate or cashiering experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Entry-level management experience, preferably in a retail or customer service environment
  • Sales and marketing experience, preferably in a retail or customer service environment
  • Experience working with food programs or services
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
  • Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
  • Ability to bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
  • Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
  • Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
  • Ability to bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
  • Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination
