About the Team: AlphaSense Marketing is a revenue and pipeline-focused marketing team that encompasses demand generation, product marketing, corporate communications, PR / AR, brand, customer marketing, website, content marketing, and events. At our core, we’re here to support AlphaSense’s growth, which we do by contributing to pipeline and revenue; developing a brand that’s widely known to the markets we serve; and encouraging user engagement both within our product and with our brand. About the Role: AlphaSense is looking for an ambitious, creative Web Developer to strategize and execute web changes and optimizations for the AlphaSense website. We are currently hiring a Web Developer with a successful track record to own the development – taking website projects from start to completion. Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Marketing, related field, or equivalent working experience
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with WordPress required
  • 3+ years of professional experience on a software development team as a front-end developer or web developer with common languages (HTML, Javascript, CSS, PHP)
  • 2+ years of professional experience with RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
  • Familiarity with Github or other version control services
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize web pages for security and responsiveness
  • Understanding of network diagnostics, hosting operations, and analytical tools
  • Understanding of web accessibility, usability, and performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience delivering projects cross-functionally
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Solution-oriented and high-level programming skills
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate with designers, developers, and managers, ensuring all elements are received on time
  • Ability to work within an established system, and customize websites without the use of extra themes or plugins
  • Experience in creating project estimates, defining scope requirements, and structuring projects
  • Experience with Figma a plus

What You’ll Do:

  • Own web development for marketing-related web pages.
  • Write and review high-quality, well-architected code using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP.
  • Build and maintain WordPress page templates.
  • Build and maintain WordPress page templates through the use of APIs.
  • Build and maintain custom WordPress plugins.
  • Partner with design team members on website wireframes and prototypes,
  • Implement beautiful user interfaces and functional user experiences.
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and implement new web technology and methods that are beneficial to the goals of the organization.
  • Successfully deliver complex projects with convoluted interdependencies.
  • Build and edit WordPress pages using our prebuilt content engine/page builder.
  • Work with the larger marketing team to edit and optimize the website to be more intuitive and generate more leads.
  • Regularly run audits and tests for web speed, performance, and accessibility.
  • Understand complex business domains.

Base Compensation Range*: $100,000 - $110,000 Additional Components: You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.

  • For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
