Senior QA Analyst Remote_United States

Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings has an opening for a Senior QA Analyst. This is a remote position; can work anywhere in the U.S. Job Description:

• Identify, plan and execute testing activities to ensure high quality software and ensure compliance according to regulatory statutes, policies and procedures.
• Test Web Application software, including Java and .Net. Test Web Services, Test applications which utilize IBM’s MQ Series platform.
• Perform white-box tests. Create and maintain test plans, cases and summaries.
• Execute manual and automated test cases/scripts.
• Manage test data and perform data analysis.
• Define, maintain and organize input and output data.
• Develop and maintain quality repositories to assure quality data integrity, including IBM DB2, Oracle and Sybase database platforms.
• Communicate QA risks, milestones, and status to the QA lead or Project Manager.
• Review and verify functional and system requirements to ensure project deliverables pass QA criteria.
• Provide work estimates for testing activities.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of QA test environment and tools.
• Collect and report on quality statistics and metrics.
• Record and monitor discovered defects and QA related issues.
• Participate in quality related discussions.
• Promote continuous improvement.
• Improve test cycle duration using testing tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive experience as a Senior QA Analyst or related role.
• Must possess at least five years of experience in Test Plan and Test Case development.
• Must possess at least 5 years of experience in all aspects of functional testing across a broad set of technologies, including cloud technology, container based micro services for sub-UI testing, RESTful service testing, thin-client testing (html/Angular), database testing, virtual service stub testing.
• Must possess at least 5 years of experience in QA automation development and scripting.
• Must possess at least 5 years of experience in developing UI and Sub-UI based scripts with tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Rational Integration Tester, Visual Studio, UFT, custom code.
• Must possess at least 3 years of experience with Agile methodology.
• Must possess at least 2 years of experience with Test Automation Frameworks, including user story to test case translation with methods like Gherkin/Cucumber or equivalent.

Approximately 40 hours per week; salary is $114,878 per year.
