Job Description: What you’ll do At TJX, the mission of the Delivery Agility Enablement Team is to help IT teams improve the flow of work by identifying and addressing bottlenecks, by leveraging TJX best practices, Agile Principles and Practices and Technology to drive efficiency and agility. As a Senior Product Owner in our DAE Team, you will be responsible for helping define and for supporting the building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable Atlassian suite of products (Jira Cloud, Jira Align, Confluence) that meet our customer needs balanced with the need for a standardized work management platform. As an ideal candidate, you will have a consistent track record in driving value as a voice-of-the-customer. You will manage stakeholder needs, prioritize the backlog for the team, track performance, and communicate results frequently. Collaboration with product management, development teams, and business partners is key – requiring a blend of solution delivery acumen and technical expertise to conduct reviews, communicate effectively across all organizational levels, and provide support to cross-functional product teams.   • Responsible for defining the Team product backlog of user stories, including backlog prioritization, refinement, and creation of acceptance criteria along with agreed upon definition of done.
  • Support the crafting and delivery of products vision, strategy, roadmaps, and prioritization.
  • Partner with Product Management to understand customer needs, opportunities, and priorities.
  • Lead grooming sessions to maintain a consistently up-to-date backlog of clearly defined features/stories.
  • Fully document product features and capabilities in JIRA by ensuring all stories have acceptance criteria that are clear and can be measured.
  • Break down the product vision/objectives into user stories, create storyboards, write specifications, prioritize features, build consensus.
  • Review, approve, and drive iteration (sprint) goals and content by prioritizing user stories in collaboration with the Business of IT team.
  • Effectively identify, manage, and communicate dependencies, risks, issues, and scope trade-offs for Atlassian changes and/or enhancements with the Business of IT team.
  • Partner with IT and business teams to create and execute test strategies and plans, post implementation support models, and knowledge articles to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with the Atlassian vendor to stay on top of future vendor product releases; to understand the new functionality, test and adopt these changes in the TJX environment by implementing the required change management steps.

Successful Candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent engineering skills, training, or functional work experience
  • 5 + years of experience as a Senior Product Owner in a technology environment supporting large complex project/product implementations, working directly with business owners to identify and prioritize their needs.
  • Must have experience in configuring Atlassian suite of products (Jira Cloud, Jira Align, Confluence)
  • Proven knowledge of agile methodology, scrum, SAFe, and agile tools (JIRA/Confluence).
  • Consultative partnership with customers, with the ability to translate functional needs into requirements that drive value.
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative, matrix environment with a track record of measurable business impact.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to influence effectively with and without formal authority.
  • Capability to demonstrate critical thinking and proven track record of positive change
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAFe Product Owner Product Manager (POPM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) Certification
  • Jira Cloud, Jira Align, Confluence expertise in both usage and administration
  • Experience handling third party and SAAS applications
