About the Role

We are seeking a detail‑driven Remote Accountant who will become the financial backbone of our fast‑growing SaaS company. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will own the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of clients located primarily in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida while collaborating with cross‑functional teams across the United States. Your work will ensure that our books are accurate, regulatory compliance is maintained, and strategic financial insights are delivered on time. By safeguarding the integrity of our financial data, you will enable senior leadership to make data‑driven decisions that fuel growth and expand our market share in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida and beyond. --- Key Responsibilities -

Month‑end & year‑end close

– Execute a 5‑day close process for our primary entity, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and delivering accurate financial statements to the CFO. -

General ledger management

– Maintain the GL in

QuickBooks Online

and

Xero

, ensuring proper coding of all transactions and adherence to GAAP. -

Accounts payable & receivable

– Process approximately 250 invoices per month, manage vendor relationships, and oversee cash application using

SAP Business One

Bank & credit‑card reconciliations

– Perform daily reconciliations for up to 15 accounts, flagging exceptions and coordinating with Treasury. -

Financial reporting

– Generate monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc reports in

Microsoft Excel

for internal stakeholders and external auditors. -

Tax compliance

– Prepare and file state and federal tax returns for the entity, working with an external CPA firm to meet all filing deadlines. -
