Part-Time USPS Clerk - Flexible Hours

Role and Responsibilities: As a Part-Time USPS Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring postal operations run smoothly by supporting both customer service and back-office tasks. You will interact with customers and manage critical clerical functions.

• Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages efficiently
• Sort, label, and route mail for delivery and distribution
• Provide customer service at the retail window, including selling postage and processing transactions
• Verify the accuracy of postage, mailing documentation, and shipping regulations
• Maintain records of incoming/outgoing mail and complete required forms accurately
• Operate standard postal equipment, including scanners, postage meters, and scales
• Assist with inventory control and restocking of supplies Required Skills and Experience:
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and system navigation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer interaction
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift packages as needed Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a mailroom, clerical, or customer service environment
