Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Entering alphanumeric data from raw sources into our database, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Comparing data with source documents, re-entering data in verification format to detect errors, and compiling, sorting, and verifying the accuracy of data before entry
• Utilizing Excel for data remediation, identifying and correcting errors, and reporting them to supervisors as needed
• Maintaining logs of activities and completed work, ensuring transparency and accountability
• Reading source documents, such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and entering data into specific fields
• Working in a fast-paced environment, meeting production targets, and maintaining a high level of productivity
• Possessing strong 10-key skills and familiarity with spreadsheets and database software
• Demonstrating attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to quality

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 2 years of experience in data entry, data collection, or a related field
• Proficiency in Excel and data remediation
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production targets
• Familiarity with spreadsheets and database software
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
