Earnings Potential

As a blithequark contractor, you'll have the opportunity to earn up to $20.40 per hour. We guarantee a minimum of 45 minutes of pay for each hour if you're available for the full 60 minutes.

Schedule

Our flexible scheduling opportunities allow you to create your own schedule, with available hours between 8 am and 8 pm CST, Monday to Friday.

Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Comparable Accounting Software: You'll be working with customers who use QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software, so it's essential that you're familiar with these systems.
  • Bookkeeping/Accounting Expertise: You'll need to have a solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, including AR, AP, journal entries, reconciliation, and more.
  • Customer Service Experience: You'll be working with customers over the phone, so it's crucial that you have excellent customer service skills and can deliver high-quality service in a virtual or "brick and mortar" call center environment.
  • Tech Savvy: You'll need to be comfortable using technology and have strong computer skills.
  • Friendly Tone and Professional Demeanor: You'll be communicating with customers, so it's essential that you have a friendly tone and professional demeanor.

Work Environment Requirements

To ensure you can focus on delivering exceptional customer service, we require:

  • Quiet, Uninterrupted Space: You'll need a quiet, uninterrupted space to work from.
  • Organized Desk Area: You'll need to have an organized desk area to keep your workspace tidy and efficient.

Technology Requirements

To ensure you can perform your duties effectively, we require:

  • Personal Computer (No Tablet): You'll need a personal computer, not a tablet.
  • Broadband Internet Connection: You'll need a broadband internet connection with a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps.
  • Wired Internet Connection: You'll need a wired internet connection, not Wi-Fi or mobile internet.
  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 Operating System: You'll need to have either Windows 10 or Windows 11 installed on your computer.
  • Valid Antivirus Software: You'll need to have valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date.
  • Wired USB Headset with Microphone: You'll need a wired USB headset with microphone to communicate with customers.

Important Information

  • Location: You must live and work from the United States, except for California, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington.
  • Criminal Background Check: You'll need to successfully pass a criminal background check.
  • Contractual Relationship: The relationship between you and blithequark is a contractual relationship. You'll remain an independent contractor for the duration of this program assignment.
  • Independent Contractor Status: As an independent contractor, you'll be responsible for your own taxes and benefits.
