As a Data Entry Technician, you will be an integral part of our Customs Brokerage team, working closely with our management and colleagues to ensure seamless operations and outstanding customer service.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Technician to join our Customs Brokerage team on a part-time basis (15-20 hours per week). As a Data Entry Technician, you will be responsible for accurately and timely entering data into our operating system, understanding and identifying customs documentation, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
  • Understanding and identifying customs documentation
  • Transposing customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
  • Verifying documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct
  • Providing excellent customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Ensuring compliance at all times to regulations
  • Daily execution of workflow and department metrics

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical
  • Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with a high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • A growth mindset, eager to learn and develop your skills
  • A desire for a career in supply chain and logistics
