Responsibilities

As an Online Chat Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing prompt and professional responses to guest inquiries via live chat, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
  • Assisting guests with reservation modifications and cancellations, resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Resolving customer complaints and issues with empathy and effective problem-solving strategies, ensuring that our clients feel valued and supported.
  • Providing information about hotel services, policies, and local attractions, helping our guests to make the most of their stay.
  • Documenting guest interactions and maintaining accurate records in our system, ensuring that we can track and analyze customer feedback.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction, providing a seamless and enjoyable experience for our clients.
  • Staying informed about hotel promotions and offerings, ensuring that we can effectively assist guests and provide them with the best possible experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality or customer service related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a customer service or support role, preferably in a remote setting.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a professional tone that is engaging and effective.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with live chat software and CRM tools is a plus, but not essential.
  • The ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
