Job Summary

The Student Customer Service Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all patrons at our recreational facilities. As the first point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, answering questions, and resolving problems in a professional and courteous manner. Additionally, you will be required to perform basic cleaning responsibilities, assist with special event set-up and operations, and maintain a clean and safe environment for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patrons and guests, ensuring a visibly positive and approachable composure to promote patron-employee relations
  • Assist all customers with various questions and problems in customer service areas
  • Perform basic cleaning responsibilities, including trash removal, equipment maintenance, and laundry
  • Assist with special event set-up and operations
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for all patrons by completing assigned shifts, duties, and enforcing facility policies
  • Serve as a first responder to accidents within the building, providing basic life support and emergency care as needed

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and Standard First Aid certifications, or the ability to obtain within the first 30 days of employment
  • BBP Certification, or the ability to obtain within the first 30 days of employment
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons, staff, and management
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures, with the ability to perform tasks as assigned
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience in customer service, recreational facilities, or a related field
  • Basic life support and emergency care training, such as CPR/AED certification
  • Knowledge of facility policies and procedures, with the ability to enforce and maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
