About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the frontline ambassador for our brand, managing customer queries, resolving complaints, and processing orders and modifications across multiple communication channels. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times, ensuring that every interaction reflects the heart of blithequark's mission.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries, acknowledging and resolving customer complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels, including phone, email, and chat, providing clear, concise, and personalized support.
  • Knowing our products and services inside and out to answer questions, provide related information, and educate customers on self-service options and plan details.
  • Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests accurately and efficiently, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Keeping detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints to inform future improvements and ensure continuity of care.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary to resolve complex issues, provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process, and contribute to team goals.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to junior customer service representatives, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Reside full-time in the state of Oklahoma, with a dedicated workspace that meets our technical requirements, including high-speed internet access (25 mbps or higher) and a direct connection to the router.
  • Have familiarity with Microsoft Office products and experience in a highly transactional call center environment, where you have honed your customer service and critical thinking skills.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills, with the ability to empathize with customers, remain calm under pressure, and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, with a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and time management.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Prior experience in a remote work environment, with the ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
  • Knowledge of claims research, payment questions, and health care operations, which would be an asset in supporting our customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with customer service software and technology, including CRM systems and helpdesk tools, which would facilitate your work and enhance your productivity.
