Job Summary
As an Experienced Full Stack Data Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying large-scale data engineering solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will work closely with our team of data scientists, engineers, and architects to design and implement data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes that are scalable, secure, and efficient. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our data engineering solutions, as well as providing technical guidance and support to our team members.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy large-scale data engineering solutions that meet the needs of our clients
- Work closely with our team of data scientists, engineers, and architects to design and implement data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes
- Ensure the quality and integrity of our data engineering solutions
- Provide technical guidance and support to our team members
- Collaborate with our team to identify and prioritize new opportunities for growth and innovation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and apply this knowledge to our solutions
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the development and deployment of our solutions
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and developing large-scale data engineering solutions
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes
- Experience with cloud-based data engineering platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
- Experience with data engineering tools and technologies, such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, or Apache Flink
- Strong understanding of data security and compliance principles and practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and developing large-scale data engineering solutions
- Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop or NoSQL databases
- Experience with data visualization tools and technologies, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins or Docker
- Strong understanding of cloud-based data engineering platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or IBM Cloud
