The Role
As a Benefit Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients, helping them navigate the enrollment process and make updates to their health care and/or pension plans. You'll work in a work-from-home environment, providing superior customer service and building strong relationships with clients. With a focus on delivering exceptional service and building trust, you'll be empowered to take the time necessary to provide the highest level of service on each contact.
Key Responsibilities
* Quickly build rapport and respond to plan participants in a compassionate manner
* Customize customer service approach to meet all types of communication styles and personalities while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy during difficult calls
* Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data security requirements
* Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and compliance with company and client procedures and guidelines, providing appropriate and accurate information
* Maintain and document complete and accurate call and case notes in a professional manner
* Regularly participate in team meetings and training
* Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
* 6 months to 1 year of call center experience required
* Must live within 1 hour of Bloomington, MN for this remote role
* Pay: $18/hour (pay increase for bilingual candidates in French or Spanish)
* Contract: Up to 6 months (assisting the company through benefits open enrollment, with top employees eligible for permanent roles)
* Schedule: NO WEEKENDS! Must be available for a standard shift anytime between 7am-7pm, with extended hours during busy season
