Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Data Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data systems that support our business operations. As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions that drive growth and innovation. You will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets, as well as developing and implementing data pipelines and architectures that meet non-functional and functional business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Collect and process large, complex datasets that meet non-functional and functional business requirements

  • Identify, design, and implement process enhancements, including re-designing infrastructure for greater flexibility, improving data delivery, and automating manual processes
  • Develop required frameworks for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies
  • Assemble scientific tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing valuable insights into key business performance metrics, including operational efficiency and customer acquisition
  • Collaborate with partners, including data, design, product, and leadership teams, to address data-related technical issues
  • Work with partners, including the Leader, Product, Data, and Configuration teams, to support their data system needs while addressing data-related technical issues
  • Create or modify hardware and technology to meet client needs
  • Perform other work duties as directed by Representative's Chiefs

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and developing complex data systems
  • Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
  • Experience with AWS and SQL technologies, including data pipelines and architectures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify complex issues and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and developing complex data systems
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including Amazon Redshift and Google BigQuery
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools, including Tableau and Power BI
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
  • Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations, including GDPR and HIPAA
