Experienced Data Entry Keyer – Customer Order Processing and Administrative Support

Job Summary:

As a Professional Data Entry Keyer at blithequark, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer and shipping orders, while also providing administrative support to our team. You will work closely with our supervisors and colleagues to ensure that data is accurate, consistent, and up-to-date. This role requires strong reading comprehension, critical thinking, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Read and decipher customer and shipping orders submitted in person, via the print catalog, and online, ensuring accurate and timely processing

  • Key data into specific Microsoft Excel fields, utilizing your knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Read and key in data from other source documents, such as invoices and receipts
  • Verify the accuracy of data before entering it into the system, ensuring consistency and attention to detail
  • Report any data errors or anomalies to your supervisor, providing clear and concise explanations
  • Maintain accurate and updated logs of ongoing work, ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Perform filing, copying, and other administrative duties for approximately three hours per day, while dedicating five hours daily to data entry keying
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to resolve any issues or concerns related to data entry and administrative tasks

Requirements:

* Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) proficiency

  • Strong reading comprehension and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and supervisors
  • Patience and attention to detail, with the ability to work on repetitive tasks
  • Reading knowledge of English, with the ability to understand and process orders in Spanish (approximately 5-10% of orders)
  • One to two years of experience in data entry and/or filing, with a strong understanding of administrative procedures
  • Social perceptiveness and service orientation, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
