About the Role

As a Sales Account Manager on the blithequark Adapt team, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, managing complex advertiser goals, and developing strategic advertising solutions. You will have the opportunity to work with top advertisers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to create and execute advertising strategies that drive incremental revenue. Your expertise in digital marketing, analytics, and problem-solving will be essential in identifying opportunities, mitigating risks, and delivering results that meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver revenue growth while managing complex advertiser goals and problems to drive revenue
  • Own and grow existing client revenues, expanding regionally as needed
  • Become an expert on blithequark solutions, adapting recommendations based on advertiser needs
  • Solve ambiguous problems, identifying and mitigating risks before they become roadblocks
  • Leverage mastery of media and communications to develop annual brand plans and campaign media plans
  • Create and identify new insights based on multiple first-party and third-party research, educating customers on customized insights
  • Provide in-depth data analysis to develop actionable insights and recommendations for future campaigns

A Day in the Life

As a Sales Account Manager on the Adapt team, you will work closely with advertisers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to drive advertiser success. You will consult with clients to define goals, working backwards to develop curated advertising strategies that achieve those goals. Your day will be filled with complex, data-driven insights, enriching advertisers' understanding of their campaigns, objectives, and business. You will also collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Creative, Product, and other partner teams, to drive advertiser success.

The blithequark Adapt team specializes in dynamic work, supporting the Global blithequark Ads Organization during gaps in business coverage due to leaves of absence, roles to be hired, and unexpected employee movement. Our team's vision is to provide the world's most customer-centric business coverage, exceeding both customer and employee expectations during periods of transition. As a member of the Adapt team, you will have the opportunity to work across various categories and verticals, providing efficient and accurate campaign management while identifying opportunities to continuously improve workflows and implement best practices.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Significant experience in a client-facing role, including digital marketing, analytics, or related fields
  • Experience in display or search marketing
  • Adept at solving problems that span business and technology
  • Influence process improvement that scales broadly, inventing and simplifying within existing processes
  • Excellent organizational, relationship-building, and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Programmatic strategy and implementation experience
  • Proven track record of delivering results, including revenue targets, and significantly contributing to advertiser revenue growth

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Omni-channel marketing, over-the-top (OTT), and audio
  • Experience in e-commerce (sales or marketing)
  • Experience in revenue-owning functions
