About the Role

We are seeking an outstanding individual to join our team as a Customer Services Adviser. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for delivering a responsive, solution-focused service to all. Your primary objective will be to provide exceptional support and solutions to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing a responsive and solution-focused service via phone, face-to-face, and other communication channels
  • Log repairs and raise job orders for external contractors, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of customer issues
  • Work collaboratively with the Customer Service Centre (CSC) team to deliver exceptional customer service and support
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of blithequark's services, policies, and procedures to provide accurate and informed advice to customers
  • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers, resolve conflicts, and address challenging situations in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of customer services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance the customer experience

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A proven background of working in a busy contact centre or directly with members of the public, both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Experience of logging repairs and raising job orders for external contractors
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • A strong desire to help people, with a empathetic and understanding approach
  • Ability to work under pressure, be resilient, and manage challenging situations
  • A team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues to achieve shared goals

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are desirable:

  • Previous experience working in a customer-facing role within a housing association or similar organization
  • Knowledge of housing management systems and procedures
  • Experience of working with diverse customer groups, including vulnerable adults and children
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

In return for your hard work and dedication, blithequark offers a competitive compensation package, including:

  • A salary range of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Private medical insurance, with access to a range of health and wellbeing benefits
