About the Role:

As a Video Editor II, you will use extensive specialized knowledge to handle various tasks, following routines while taking initiative for non-routine challenges. You will achieve project goals by editing video, enhancing audio, and ensuring high production quality. Your role includes collaborating with team members, resolving conflicts, implementing feedback, and delivering polished final edits that meet specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Video Editing: Edit a wide range of video content, including marketing materials, documentaries, and web series, while maintaining high production standards.

  • Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects to enhance and refine video content.

  • Project Management: Manage the full lifecycle of video projects, from planning and storyboarding to post-production and final delivery.

  • Creative Problem Solving: Take initiative in finding creative solutions for non-routine tasks and managing exceptional situations or conflicts during the editing process.

  • Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous quality checks to ensure that all video content meets and exceeds the company's quality standards and adheres to brand guidelines.

  • Asset Management: Maintain an organized library of video assets, ensuring efficient access and archiving for future use.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams.

  • Professional Development: Continuously update your skills and stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in video editing.

Requirements:
  • +3 years of experience in video editing or related fields, with a diverse portfolio showcasing your expertise and range of editing styles.

  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects)

  • Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle exceptional situations effectively.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • A proactive and creative mindset with a passion for video production and a commitment to delivering high-quality content.

Nice-to-have

  • Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects.
