Key Responsibilities

As an Office Clerk/Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently enter daily work orders into our systems, ensuring timely and precise data processing.
  • Report Assembly and Reconciliation: Compile and review reports, identifying discrepancies and taking corrective action to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various office tasks, including filing, copying, faxing, and other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Communication: Maintain excellent communication with various departments, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Other Duties: Participate in special projects and tasks as assigned by management, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Organizational and Prioritization Skills: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail and Accuracy: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining precise records and data.
  • Data Entry Experience: At least 1 year of experience in data entry, with a typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
  • Office Clerk Experience: 1 year of experience in an office setting, with a strong understanding of office procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues, management, and clients.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience with Microsoft Excel and a background in recycling would be beneficial in this role.

Physical Demands

As a remote employee, you will be working in a home office setting, and the physical demands of this role include:

  • Computer Use: Ability to use a computer and related devices, such as a keyboard or mouse, for extended periods.
  • Seated Work: Ability to sit for long periods, with occasional standing or stretching.
  • Bending and Stooping: Ability to bend, stoop, or seat for long periods, as required for proper records development and management.

Benefits and Compensation

As a valued member of the blithequark team, you will enjoy a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, health savings account, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
  • Schedule: 8-hour shift, with flexibility to work from home.

Schedule and Relocation

This is a full-time remote opportunity, and you will be required to work from the Chicago, IL 60608 area. If you are not currently located in this area, you will need to relocate before starting work.
