As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will have the opportunity to work in a high-paced, high-energy environment, assisting customers with their queries, and providing personalized solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrating technical skills to assist customers with website navigation and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Building rapport and maintaining positive relationships with internal customers
  • Taking inbound customer calls, using active listening skills to understand individual needs, and creating memorable customer experiences
  • Working on customer emails, utilizing critical thinking skills, and maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Responding to benefit questions and billing/administrative queries related to our products, including Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Life, and Supplemental Life
  • Adhering to established compliance and performance processes, both verbally and in writing
  • Utilizing active listening and critical thinking skills to analyze customer requests and provide appropriate solutions
  • Taking ownership of customer interactions, ensuring that we go above and beyond to meet their needs, and building value for the blithequark brand

Schedule and Training

The start date for this role is February 10, 2025, and the training hours will be 7:00 am – 3:30 pm PST, Monday to Friday. Post-training, you will be assigned a schedule, which will be approximately 2 weeks before completing training, anytime between 8:00 am-8:00 pm EST, Monday to Friday.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay for this role is $23 per hour, with opportunities for growth. At blithequark, we offer a comprehensive compensation package, which includes short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is $40,685 - $61,027.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide simple, clear explanations to customers
  • Empathy and a customer-centric approach
  • A demonstrated background in customer service, insurance, retail, sales, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to develop and enhance strong customer relationships
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering high customer value
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are preferred but not required
