Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer leaves our store with a smile
  • Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor
  • Independently stocking shelves and recovering merchandise in the store, ensuring that our products are always available and easily accessible for our customers
  • Accurately handling customer funds and processing transactions using our POS system, maintaining the highest level of security and integrity
  • Remaining constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, preventing any potential issues or concerns
  • Performing all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation

Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned
  • Experience: Previous experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred, but not required
  • Physical Requirements: The ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs (and occasionally, up to 55lbs) from floor level to above shoulder height, with the ability to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Availability: The ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
