Primary Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative I, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting customers via phone or in-person, providing accurate and timely information to resolve their inquiries and concerns
  • Reviewing confidential tax information and maintaining a working knowledge of current tax laws and policies
  • Providing account maintenance according to tax laws and policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Offering knowledgeable and friendly support for online self-service functions through the Georgia Tax Center
  • Utilizing technology for advanced support, staying up-to-date with the latest tools and systems
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide seamless customer experiences

Minimum Entry Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Six months of call center experience handling customer inquiries, complaints, and providing information

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will be advantageous:

  • Experience working in a high-volume contact service environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish or a second language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Familiarity with tax laws and policies, as well as online self-service functions

Requirements

To join our team, you must:

  • Pass a thorough background check
  • Obtain a Tax Clearance Letter stating that you do not owe any state taxes

Compensation and Benefits
