Job Summary
As a Full Stack Software Engineer with Delta Airlines, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying web and cloud-based applications that meet the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, design and implement technical solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Your expertise will be essential in driving innovation and improving the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design technical solutions that meet their needs
- Develop and deploy web and cloud-based applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Python, and AWS
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Design and implement automated test suites to ensure high-quality code and reduce testing time
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure best practices are followed

Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud-based applications
- Strong understanding of full-stack development principles and best practices
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and AWS, with experience in agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud-based applications
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures and migration strategies
- Experience with agile project management tools, such as Jira and Asana
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members
