Job Summary

As a Full-Time Nursing Instructor - Sub in Kansas, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality education to our students, while also contributing to the development of our curriculum and instructional programs. Key Responsibilities

* Instruct classes as assigned, using a variety of teaching methods and technologies to engage students and promote learning

• Prepare for classes by organizing and becoming familiar with student material, and by developing and implementing effective lesson plans and course materials
• Objectively assess students for academic performance, and provide regular and constructive feedback to students regarding their progress and areas for improvement
• Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning, and set the example for professionalism and conduct
• Stay informed of current standards related to instructional methodology, and participate in ongoing faculty and professional development activities to improve instructional and professional skills
• Assist with preparations for graduation ceremonies, and participate in student and campus activities as requested

Essential Qualifications

* BSN is required with a clinical component (BON), MSN is preferred

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical practice experience (ACCSC)
• Must hold an active and unencumbered license to practice professional nursing in the state of Missouri (BON)
• Must never have been disciplined in any jurisdiction (BON)
• Must meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications (BON)
