Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with excellent customer service skills to join our remote team. As a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician and Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling customer inquiries, and performing various administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician and Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering phones and responding to orders, re-orders, and general customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Handling and resolving client complaints and inquiries in a fair and efficient manner
  • Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times
  • Clarifying orders as needed
  • Performing various administrative tasks as assigned by the Data Entry Manager
  • Maintaining accurate records and files
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to internal and external customers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License
  • Previous experience in pharmacy, with LTC pharmacy experience preferred
  • Knowledge of brand name and generic medications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in frameworks and ECM knowledge
  • Great telephone etiquette and excellent communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software and systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
